This year I am participating in the exhibition ‘Collected Textiles’ during the Dutch Design Week. Fisherman ganseys and moths are the inspirations for the graduation projects of fashion designer Diana Tax and textile designer Anne Snijders. In their studio located in the Natlab, they show their passion for knitting and other handicrafts.
There is also a concept store and exposition with work by other young fashion and textile designers. Sat October 22 until Sun Oct 30st. Entrance is free. Hope to see you there!

When I’m in Toronto I always love to visit the great variety of stores and galleries at the Distillery District.
That is also how I ran into the work of textile designer Hilary Cosgrove.
Her owl pillows are just amazingly cute. Her website is under construction at the moment (the placeholder looks promising though, so keep that one in mind) but you’ll find her work on Etsy (of course) and on her blogspot.
